Brass Acre Website Terms of Use

Version 1.1. For visitors to brassacre.com. The subscription itself is governed by the Master Subscription Agreement

Working draft, prepared for attorney review before launch.

These terms govern your use of brassacre.com and its public pages (the "Site"), run by Ignis Public Safety Group, LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Brass Acre ("Brass Acre"). By using the Site you accept these terms. If your agency subscribes to Brass Acre, the Master Subscription Agreement governs that subscription, not these terms.

1. Site content

Text, product descriptions, prices, demonstrations, logos and design on the Site belong to Brass Acre or its licensors. You may view, download and print Site content to evaluate Brass Acre for your agency. You may not republish it commercially, copy the Site at scale with automated tools, or use the BRASS ACRE name or logo without written permission.

2. Published prices and quotes

Prices on the Site are current list prices. A price becomes binding when it appears on a signed Order Form. Prices on the Site may change, but never during a signed term, and renewal increases are capped as the Master Subscription Agreement states. A quote from the Site's quote builder is valid for ninety (90) days, or until July 1 of the next year if the quote says it is held for a budget cycle.

3. Demonstrations

Tours and demonstrations use Cedar Ridge Fire District, a fictional agency with fictional people and incidents. They show how the products work and are not a promise that every feature shown is available today. Each product page states when it is available.

4. No professional advice

Site content is general information about software. It is not legal, medical or fire code advice and does not set any standard of care.

5. Your information

Information you send through the quote builder, walkthrough request or contact form must be accurate. Brass Acre may correct a quote built from inaccurate Station information. The Privacy Notice explains how that information is used.

6. Disclaimer and limit

The Site is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, Brass Acre disclaims all warranties about the Site and limits its total liability for use of the Site to one hundred dollars ($100). This limit does not apply to the subscription Service, which carries the remedies in the Master Subscription Agreement.

7. Law

California law governs these terms. Disputes belong in the state or federal courts for Riverside County, California.
